Net Q & A

Question of the Month: May 2003

"Does it take much longer to keep up a blog than a Web site?"

While it is much easier to update a blog than a conventional web site, in my experience you wind up spending more time keeping up a blog.

Because the blog tends to be more rewarding (as well as more enjoyable) you tend to spend more time on a blog than you would a boring, unproductive conventional web site.

Of course, with a blog you get a bigger return on your time investment as well. Some of the reasons for this are explained in the article Web Logs for Lawyers: Lessons from Ernie the Attorney.
