Overviews

Law Law Law on the Internet by Erik Heels and Rick Klau. Related web site. A snapshot of the legal community on the web, features incisive reviews of many sites. The law firm web site reviews are particularly valuable. For the online versions and updates, see the authors' outstanding Red Street Consulting site.

The Complete Internet Handbook for Lawyers by Jerry Lawson. From the ABA Law Practice Management Section. You can find more information, or visit the web site on the ABA server that will support the book's users.

The Complete Internet Guide for Lawyers, by G. Burgess Allison (1995). Both the Internet and the legal profession have seen quite a few changes since this book was published, but large sections of the book retain the insight and wit that deservedly made it a best seller.
Net Law: How Lawyers Use the Internet by Paul Jacobsen. This 1996 book is a little dated, but does a good job of combining basic instructional material with excellent examples from practicing attorneys. Our review.

Technical

The Lawyer's Guide to E-mail by Kenneth Johnson, developer of the excellent WWWScribe site. Our review.

E-mail is the most common Internet use by lawyers. Learning how to use e-mail efficiently is one of the best ways to get a quick return on the time you spend learning to use the Internet.

The Lawyer's Quick Guide to Netscape Navigator, by G. Burgess Allison. One of the under appreciated gems in the ABA catalog. Our review

The Lawyer's Quick Guide to MS Internet Explorer, by G. Burgess Allison. Our review.
